Chandrayaan-3 progresses towards the Moon as lunar bound manoeuvres complete
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully manoeuvred the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft into a 153 km x 163 km orbit around the moon. The next phase will be the separation of the lander, carrying the Pragyan rover, from the propulsion module. The descent and de-boost manoeuvres will position the lander for a soft landing on the moon's south pole region on August 23.
